I’m kinda sceptical of my board after I experience that rebooting (I suspect it’s the dreaded BSOD), hence I tried running Orthos to fully load both my CPUs, and I used SpeedFan to capture my thermal readings.

Overclock E5200 – Maximum 3.5 GHz stable

Well since I’m literally new in this overclocking trial, I’ve only managed to top 3.5 GHz speed for my mobo.
It could be due to wrong voltages or weaker RAM counterpart. I might consider getting a better RAM with better FSB to try to exceed 4 GHz. I might also have to look for a better [...]

My first successful overclocking attempt!

After I bought my new motherboard and CPU, I have been lurking around forums to figure out how to overclock my CPU… After many unsuccessful attempts and minor electrical shocks (due to resetting the CMOS), I finally managed to get a stable overclock of 3.33GHz.
