The $1000 computer project

I was given $1000 to build a computer with superb specs, minus the monitor. Think I can get one.
All I need to know is what graphics card to use… Hmmm…
Tentative specs:
- Intel P45 chipset board (probably from MSI or Gigabyte) + E8400 3.0GHz 1333 Mhz FSB Core2Duo processor
