I’ve known about Linux systems since I was in polytechnic. I’m currently trying out Xubuntu for fun, since my friend told me he just got his hands on a Linux operating system and installed it.
Overall, I gotta say I’m a little still not used to the interface yet, so I have no comments.
Btw, I’m blogging via Xubuntu right now. I didn’t manage to install because fear of it wiping out my disc (read: contains lots of PORN)
Anyway, I’m going to try this out and see what happens. See ya!
Update: Oops… it seems Xubuntu is meant for slower computers. I might consider building one simple computer running on Xubuntu. Currently I’m running on Ubuntu, with all those fancy effects. Feels like I’m running Vista! Yipee!
