I’ve since changed my CPU cooler from CoolerMaster Hyper 212 to Xigmatek S1283 Red Scorpion.
Reason? My CoolerMaster fans LED had died, and it’s fugly. Plus, I get the chance to finally use my Red Scopion now that I have the Crossbow mounting kit.

- WDC 500GB Green Power (main hard disk)
- Samsung 320GB (backup)

But it cost a bomb! At S$600, I could buy a Lian-Li case and mod it to perfection.

I got the Acer Aspire casing from my brother, after he got himself a new computer.
And after months of sitting around doing nothing, I decided to strip the casing apart, and I have been thinking of a project.
My project will consist of:

Just bought this fan (how many fans do I ever need!) from Chamoxa at Sim Lim Square for a whopping S$32.

Previously, I only mild overclock it to 3.6 GHz.
Seeing that this cpu is capable of more, I decided to up it’s clock to 3.8 GHz, a 200 MHz increase. My ultimate target will be 4 GHz, but I will have to invest on the Thermalright Ultra 120 first and get it lapped to perfection.
